Conference Branding & Visual Design
BOLD is an annual 3-day wellness conference incorporating peer networking, celebrated industry speakers, and wellness classes. The ask was to deliver a vibrant, eye-catching theme that would excite and empower wellness business owners. As lead designer on this project, I was responsible for conceptual branding, art direction, style guidelines, web design, app design, and style guidelines. The creative direction I solidified was used for all digital marketing campaigns, print, swag, and on-site event activation.

Deliverables: Concept Direction, Pitch Deck, Style Guides, Logo Design, Video Storyboarding, Low-Fidelity & High-Fidelity Wireframes, Interactive Prototyping, Animation and Static Assets for Web, Product Design for Event App.
The Process
Ideate and present three design concepts to executive stakeholders that would be used across all event touch points. The goal of the creative direction is to delight, entice, and attract new and returning conference goers. The theme should embody the idea that they are a part of a larger wellness community, and can overcome any business challenge, especially if they work together to grow and nurture that community in an environment like the BOLD conference.
Final Pitch Deck
Once a theme was chosen, a final pitch deck was created to illustrate how the concept might look across marketing communications, web, print, swag, and on-site event activation. The chosen theme was ‘Wellness Calling’, which personifies a grassroots movement aesthetic, a bright risograph-inspired color palette, screen print graphic elements, and interactive DIY on-site activations.
Event Branding and Style Guides
Produced style guides for creatives and content editors. These guidelines were used across all digital marketing, print collateral, and event activation. Along with a downloadable suite of creative assets and a color library addition to the shared brand design system within Figma.
Event App
Developed an event app that adhered to the brand's identity, offering attendees highly valuable content while implementing UX and Visual Design best practices.
Animation
Produced several animations inspired by the design elements of the stamp.
The Final Design
Implemented the style guides to create a cohesive and on-brand conference website using mobile-first web design best practices.
